Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: When Will It Launch in NZ, and at What Price?

When could the Himalayan 750 reach New Zealand, and what might it cost? We separate overseas launch reports from confirmed NZ availability and pricing.

The short version

  • No confirmed NZ launch date or retail price found as of 13 October 2026.
  • Overseas reporting points to a possible November 2026 international reveal.
  • A 2027 NZ arrival is a conditional scenario, not a confirmed window.
  • Current Himalayan 450 prices provide context, not a price estimate for the 750.

There is no confirmed New Zealand launch date or NZ retail price for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 in the sources checked as of 13 October 2026. Overseas reports suggest the larger Himalayan is approaching its international reveal, but that does not establish when Kiwi buyers will be able to take delivery.

Updated 13 October 2026. This article separates reported launch expectations from confirmed local information. It is not a road test.

What do we know about the launch?

In its 8 October report, Visordown described Himalayan 750 test bikes appearing without camouflage and suggested a reveal around EICMA in November 2026 could be close. That is a media assessment, not a confirmed New Zealand release announcement. Read the Visordown report.

Royal Enfield’s NZ Himalayan range page currently lists the Himalayan 450 and Mana Black edition. We did not find a Himalayan 750 local launch announcement or NZ price in the official pages checked. See the official NZ Himalayan range.

When could the Himalayan 750 arrive in NZ?

2027 is a possible scenario, not an announced NZ launch window. That scenario assumes an international launch goes ahead in late 2026, production follows and New Zealand is included in a subsequent export rollout. None of those assumptions establishes a local delivery month.

There is not enough local evidence to narrow the timing to early, mid or late 2027. A global unveiling, an overseas sales launch and the first NZ customer deliveries are separate milestones. For now, it would be premature to plan a trip or sell an existing bike around a promised arrival date.

What price can NZ buyers expect?

The Himalayan 750’s NZ price remains unconfirmed. We have not found a sufficiently supported local estimate to publish a dollar range as an expected retail price.

For context only, Royal Enfield NZ currently lists the Himalayan 450 from NZ$9,190 and the Himalayan 450 Mana Black at NZ$10,490. Those listed prices include GST and exclude on-road costs; confirm delivery charges and the complete ride-away total with a dealer. These are prices for existing 450 models, not estimates or quotes for the 750. Official NZ price references.

A premium over the base 450 would be a reasonable budgeting assumption for a larger model, but that is our inference, not Royal Enfield guidance. Its size is unknown. Currency conversions of rumoured Indian prices cannot establish an NZ retail price: local specification, taxes, freight and distributor pricing all affect the final figure.

Should you wait or buy a Himalayan 450 now?

If you specifically want the larger Himalayan, the next useful checkpoint is the official production-model announcement, followed by confirmation from Royal Enfield’s NZ distributor. If you need a bike for a fixed date, compare motorcycles that a local dealer can actually supply.

Before paying a deposit, ask whether it reserves a confirmed NZ allocation or simply records an expression of interest. Request the expected delivery date, full price including on-road costs, and refund terms in writing.

What will make the NZ picture clearer?

  • An official production-model reveal and final specifications.
  • Confirmation that New Zealand will receive the model.
  • NZ pricing, available variants and included equipment.
  • Dealer allocation and a local delivery window.

Until those details are published, the useful answer is: NZ launch timing and pricing are still to be confirmed; a 2027 arrival is a conditional possibility, not a promise.
